Today Zane and I went out for a Sunday drive and we decided to take the long way home. This is what we got to see.....
About 20 turkeys just chillin' in the middle of a lane.
Hope its a sign for what we can expect next season!
Don't forget, we are still accepting donations for the children at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis until February 10th. So if you haven't gotten anything but still want to, there is time!
Been ice fishing or huntin' recently? Share your photos and story with me! Just email 'em to ashstew90@gmail.com or get ahold of me on facebook!
I have created this blog with my Noble County family in mind. We love the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing, you name it! We are just a bunch of Indiana Natives having fun and living life to the fullest.

Chain O' Lakes State Park
Harley, my German Shepard/Lab mix, and I decided to go for a nature walk yesterday. It was a really great winter day at just above freezing and the sun shining. We went out to Chain O' Lake State Park, which is local to Noble County, specifically Albion. The park is absolutely beautiful with 2,718 acres of rolling hills, 10 miles of trails, and 212 surface acres of water; 9 connected lakes and 11 all-together. If you are a local of Noble County and don't know the story behind Chain O' Lakes and what its all about... I suggest you click here to find out some really awesome facts that you might not know!

The changes they are making is really exciting!!!
Harley and I walked Trail 5, around Sand Lake.
Chain O' Lakes is hosting the "1st Annual Indiana Trail 100" this April. It is a 100 mile run lasting 2 days throughout the park.

It's Official!
Alright its official; we are now "NoCo Livin"! :) We were talking about shows like Jersey Shore and now Buckwild... and I think our lives are just as interesting without all the ridiculous drama. We all have the same values and interests and we want to share them with the world!
Deer season is now over. Many of us ice fish during the winter, but yesterday it was 63 degrees out so the ice has melted... so obviously that's not on the list of activities right now. Dan and Dez went out coon hunting the other night for the first time this year but unfortunately didn't luck out.
Now I have some awesome sites to share!!!!!!!
JFD (Just for Does) and Athens Archery just came out with a new women's bow and its awesome.

Under Construction
Welp the blog is undergoing some changes here in the very near future! Its going to be very exciting as we are now incorporating our entire NoCo family into the blog! Where we are from, we do things together whether it be just the ladies, just the guys or guys bringing their ladies with them so I feel that our blog should reflect this. The new blog title will be "NoCo Living" and hopefully this will open new doors for us all! I'm super excited for the change and can't wait to share it with the world!!!!!!!

Hey Ya'll!!!
Well now that deer season is over, its a little less exciting. :(
I got a doe a few weeks ago with my .44 mag.
She weighed about 100 lbs. I was in the stand for 20 minutes before I saw her. I wish I had my bow with me because she walked directly in front of my stand. it was a 15 yard shot.
My brother Josh also got one at my parents house.
